Brezaja M. Hutcheson (b. 1997) is a visual artist based in Montclair, NJ. Their work explores the intricacies of human emotion through a diverse range of mediums including photography, drawing, painting, and filmmaking. With an unwavering commitment to honest expression, Brezaja's work captivates viewers with its rawness and vulnerability. Each piece is a reflection of the artist's inner landscape, and serves as a window into the complexity of the human experience. Through a keen eye for detail and a deep connection to the self, their  work evokes a sense of interconnectedness to both the natural and built environments. Themes of queerness and sexuality  through bright colors and portraiture invite the audience to journey inward and explore the depths of their own emotions.

Brezaja received their BFA in Filmmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently in the 2024-25 Canopy Program under NYC Crit Club. Their work has been exhibited at Beeler Gallery (Columbus, OH), Art at First (New York, NY) and The LGBT Center (New York, NY).
